Tree for life initiative when a last tree dies last man dies Paul Hene Mpraeso forestry manager to Kwahu South Municipal

Today, together with Director of Forestry and members of the Forestry commission office for Kwahu South Municipality ,Municipal Chief Executive and our revered Nananom, we marked World Environment Day with a symbolic tree planting exercise at Kwahu Ridge Senior High school at Kwahu Obo in the Kwahu South Municipality. The Forestry commission Director for Kwahu enclaves Mr Paul Hene said let all protect our green paster in Kwahu especially the Forestry zone so people within will have healthy living with our greeny environment Furthermore he said those working in our Forestry zone should immediately contact or visit our offices for further clarification on farming on Forestry land to prevent further damage to our greeny environment. And also chainsaw opetators are advised to visit our zonal offices for permittation to continue their chainsaw operating if found within our zone the law will deal with you as it says. This initiative is part of our broader agenda to promote reforestation, city beautification, and climate resilience. We encourage all citizens to join this green Kwahu Agenda. Free nursed trees are available at all Forestry Commission offices across the Municipality
